Patan operates at the intersection of neo-Dadaism, meme culture and political collage. His practice appropriates news fragments, internet vernacular and mass media imagery to create works that expose the absurdity of the contemporary information landscape.
Working in the tradition of 21st century Dadaism, Patan intervenes directly in the visual language of power — cutting, pasting, glitching and overwriting.
